Join us for our 22nd Annual Discovery Day!  The route begins at Cook Park in Tigard and ends at Brown's Ferry Park in Tualatin, 2.3 miles.  If you want to paddle more, you will have the option to paddle to the Lake Oswego Canal ( River Mile 6.7), turn around  and paddle back to Brown's Ferry Park. There will be safety boats loacted by the Cannal and the point of interest will be signed.  Paddling to the canal will add an extra 1.6 miles.

Enjoy a fresh piece of watermelon and check out the River Fair with Family activites after your paddle. There will be a shuttle to take you back to your car at Cook Park.

Boats will launch every 30 minutes.  Select a launch time with your boat preference.  Canoe, single kayak, double kayak, or bring your own boat. Canoes can accommodate 2 adults and up to 3 small children.  A double kayak can also fit an adult and a child. When renting a boat a life-jacket and paddle are provided.  You will receive a Tualatin Tales booklet when our dedicated volunteers help you in your boat.  The tales will tell you what to look for while on the river.

If a time slot that you want is sold out of the boat you want plase give us a call and we can possibly switch some boats around. Contact Lori at lori@tualatinriverkeepers.org or 503.218.2580
